WaterSmart Leak Detection Program

Sunnyslope County Water District is excited to offer our customers access to the WaterSmart Leak Detection Program, which is a completely free service designed to help you monitor your water usage and catch potential leaks early.

Through WaterSmart, customers can receive automatic leak alerts, track daily water usage, and better understand how water is being used at their home. Early leak detection can help prevent costly water bills, protect your property from damage, and provide peace of mind while you are away from home or on vacation.

Signing up is simple and takes only a few minutes. Once enrolled, you can view your water usage, receive notifications if unusual activity is detected, and manage your account anytime.

Smart Meter Upgrade Program

The WaterSmart system works in conjunction with the District’s smart meter technology, which automatically transmits water usage data.

Sunnyslope County Water District is currently upgrading approximately 1,400 remaining homes with smart meters as part of our district-wide modernization project. If your home has not yet received a smart meter, don’t worry! The District is working diligently to ensure every customer receives one as soon as possible.

Our goal is to complete installation of smart meters throughout the entire District by December 2026.

Once your property has a smart meter installed, you will be able to take full advantage of WaterSmart features such as leak alerts, detailed usage tracking, and conservation tools.

For accurate readings and reliable service, please help us keep water meters accessible.

Items such as parked vehicles, landscaping, shrubs, or debris placed over the meter box can interfere with meter readings and maintenance. We kindly ask customers to keep the area around their water meter clear and accessible at all times.
